"Staff were absolutely excellent."

What I liked

The paramedics, A&E nurses and doctors were all brilliant - as were the porters and two staff in Xray. After a bad fall in which I had fractured two vertebrae in my back I was in extreme pain and staff acted quickly to help me. I cannot praise the staff in A&E enough and would like to name individuals but realise this is not possible. The porters were cheerful and one even asked how I was later when he saw me again. The two Xray staff did their very best to ensure I was moved without pain to allow the Xrays etc and were very friendly and re-assuring. Both the male nurse and doctor who looked after me were exceptional and I cannot thank them enough for their care. I was later admitted to hospital but my experience in A&E was exceptionally good.
