My mother went into Colchester General for a much needed hip relacement. As I suppose anyone would be she was nervous about the operation and the effect it would have on her. Her ability to walk, do the gardening had been seriously impacted by her hip problems and it affected the quality of her life quite badly.
The surgery was a complete success and she confounded the surgeon / hospital with the rapid speed of her recovery, she was up and about walking within a few days.
6-9 months later she is as good as new so thankyou for giving my mother her life back, she is very active and is enjoying life to the full again.
So - thanks so much Colchester General, as always you've been brilliant to my family.
