"A long visit but fruitful due to a caring doctor."

About: Fairfield General Hospital

What I liked

The Doctor gave a very clear description of the problem with my eyes and the reason for frequent visits.

What could be improved

Appointment was for 14:00 in Ophthalmic Dep't nurse checked eye sight immediately did not get to see Doctor until 15:35 who checked eyes and said we should have had drops to dilate the pupils which should have been done at sight test. We then had to wait for the drops to take effect and the Doctor to become free again. Eventually left at 16:50.

Anything else?

Patients arriving and leaving by ambulance seemed to take preference when being seen and then left waiting in waiting room for return ambulance. There seemed to be very little organisation.
