"St Barnabas Hospital needs and deserves a little..."

What I liked

The fact that St Barnanas is still here is the main thing.

May it never close.

St Barnabas Hospital is a credit to the NHS.

Everybody tries to do the best job that they can.

This Hospital is a little jewel in the NHS Crown.

What could be improved

I have seen one major problem with this Hospital, which is causing stress to both staff and patients alike.

The woman are on the upper floor and the men are on the ground floor. St Barnabas has only one stand aid, and one hoist, for the entire hospital.

This means that every time the staff switch between men and woman and need to use this equipment the are forced to use the lift to take the equipment either up or down within the building. This not only takes time, (which is in short supply) but causes unnecessary ware and tear on the lift, as well as the equipment, and the staff.

I think this is poor suitation to be in, and could so easily be put right.

Surely two more pieces of equipment could be purchased to alleviate this suitation.

Please help not only the staff, but the patients as well.
