What I liked

My husband had to attend for an Echocardiogram, ECG and a 24hr tape at the request of his renal consultant. From the first encounter with the cardio-respiratory department we have nothing but praise. The receptionist in the department was very friendly and accommodating when we were orgainsing for the tests to be done as my husband had just started a new job and he wanted as little time as possible out of work. The receptionist (sorry I didn't get her name) managed to get everything on one day, however as the day of the appointment approached I had to ring to change the appointment as my husband was unable to attend.

Again, the member of staff that I spoke to was very helpful, and managed to rearrange everything again to be on the same day. Unfortunantely, I then had to rearrange the appointments all again because of work commitments, and made the appointments for Weds 21st December.

We attended the cardio-respiratory department on Weds, and again we were greeted by very friendly staff. The department was fairly busy, but was running on time, and my husband had all his tests done.

I would like to pass on my thanks to the reception staff that dealt with us on each occasion, as it was so nice to be treated and spoken to with such a lovely friendly manner, and nothing appeared to be too much trouble (even though we were quite a nuisance having to change everything 3 times). Whilst my husband was having his tests, I waited in the waiting area and I could hear the interactions between the reception staff and different patients, and was very impressed.
