What I liked
I gave birth to my daughter at this hospital last week. As a first time mum I was extremely nervous but was very well treated from the minute I arrived. The staff were exceptional and I cannot fault them. When I arrived all of the beds were full so I was shown to a waiting room and offered a drink, I had never seen such a busy ward in my life yet the staff still remained friendly and helpful and were very apologetic about the wait I had (which I didn't think was long anyway considering!) The midwife I had was amazing and made my whole experience a memorable one for the right reasons. The aftercare I recieved on the ward was also wonderful and there was always someone around to help me when I needed it, despite the fact that they were extremely busy. I was never made to feel like I was 'bothering' anybody by asking for help, which was one of my main concerns before going into hospital. Should I have any more children, I wouldnt hesitate to use this hospital again.
