I wanted reassurance and - if necessary, a prescription - before the Christmas holidays began. I rang my GP practice (Lakes Medical Practice, Penrith) on Monday morning for an appointment. They offered me a telephone appointment on Wednesday morning.
I was very happy with the advice the doctor gave.
