What I liked

Each member of staff involed in my care was excellent, communicating with me clearly and personally and really setting me at ease. My procedure took place at the new Surgicentre and it was an excellent facility - very clean and very well designed for every part of my care. There seemed to be a very clear system that all the staff were working to, receptionist, nurses and anaestetics and surgeons, and it filled me with confidence. I owe lots of thanks to everyone there, especially my consultant's arthroscopy team, the anaestetist and the nursing team including one particular nurse.

What could be improved

The experience was well beyond my expectations and if the standard can be maintained, then the NHS has a very safe future.

Thank you so much for this feedback, which we know our orthopaedics colleagues will be delighted to read. We've made a great deal of changes to our surgery services recently, so this is the standard that we now aim to achieve day in, day out. So thanks for those comments as they will help the team know that all their efforts are paying off.
