My patient was seen at The Ivy Centre for over an hour by one of their nurses. He was very upset about a recurrent infection, particularly the psychological effects.
The nurse took him aside and listened to all his concerns, answered his questions and referred him for further counselling.
He felt 'a million times better' afterwards.
