"A&E Department - useless."

What I liked

Nothing, I would not attend this A&E department by choice again!

What could be improved

Junior doctor dealing with me had to keep going away to ask a colleague or a nurse.

I was told one thing would be done, only for the doctor to change her mind about things.

I left the A&E department feeling I had wasted my time. I was not examined, no tests or investigations were performed and I was sent home worried and concerned still having the same problem.

Anything else?

My GP later referred me straight to a hospital department with my problem, bypassing the need to attend A&E, where this hospital department took the probably very seriously, thoroughly examined me, kept me in, performed further tests, got a diagnosis and treated my case.
