What I liked
The nursing staff were very good and kind and helpful. The surgery I had on my arm appears to have been done well. The ward was adequate and fit for purpose.
What could be improved
Basically information. I never knew who to ask for what, or what was planned for me without having to ask. On the day I was discharged I was unable to find out if I was going or not and kept getting told [whoever] can help you with that later, but that person never came or didn't know. Basically five minutes telling me this is what the process is, and this is what we are waiting for...
Anything else?
I was in Lyndon 3 ward for two nights for surgery on a broken arm. I have no complaints and was happy overall. I would have liked more information. I felt as an organisation you failed quite badly at keeping me informed, but all the individuals were helpful and nice and appeared competant. I suspect they were overworked to keep me informed. all of the nursing and doctors were great including a number of student/trainees who were very helpful.
