About: The Royal London Hospital For Integrated Medicine

What I liked

This hospital is a real gem in its care and treatment of patients. From the moment you enter and step out of the lift onto the third floor and are greeted by the receptionists, you feel that the experience is unique. It is calm, friendly, and welcoming; in fact everything about this hospital makes you feel at ease. The League of Friends adds to this feeling as it has a little tea and coffee shop run by helpful and kind volunteers, so that you can have a drink and snack in the waiting room. You really do feel that you are in a privately run hospital.

The treatment is first class, as at this hospital the consultants are trained in both conventional and homeopathic medicine. So, you really feel and know that you are receiving the very best care and treatment available. Patient care is at the heart of this hospital. Time is taken to really listen, so that the right form of treatment is offered. I have a chronic skin condition, rosacea and blepharitis - today, I was discharged as I no-longer have any symptoms - credit which is due to the consultant, this hospital and homeopathy. Until I discovered this hospital, the treatment available, was long term use of antibiotics. It took me a little while to find this hospital and when I did - well I made the right patient choice.

Anything else?

Today I was discharged from the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine. I remember my first visit to the hospital, suffering from the debilitating, chronic facial skin condition - rosacea and my hopes that homeopathic treatment might be able to help. The only option provided under conventional medication was the long term use of antibiotics. As an otherwise healthy individual, long-term use of antibiotics was not an option that I wanted to take any longer. This was my first experience of homeopathy, as previously, I had only ever considered and received conventional treatment. By chance, I switched on the television and learned of the hospital’s vulnerability in terms of funding, but also that homeopathy was still available under the NHS. I requested a referral from my GP and it was this opportunity that enabled me to find a gem of a hospital that to its patients gives warmth, care and first class treatment. It was under the care and expertise of the consultant , his attention to detail in treating me as an individual using homeopathy, that my condition improved. Rosacea is a skin condition which because it affects the face is very noticeable. You would not know that I was once diagnosed with rosacea. Today, was my last visit to this wonderful hospital. I feel indebted to this hospital for the care and treatment provided. I no-longer use or need conventional medication since taking homeopathy - thank you so much for this.
