"I do not believe I would have received better..."

What I liked

I was admitted on 14/11/11 to G ward to have hip replacement surgery. I was treated extremely well by everyone. I cannot overstate how friendly and caring all the staff were. The surgeon, all nurses, the therapists and even the cleaners were considerate and efficient. The ward was spotlessly clean. The food was tasty. I have nothing but praise for the staff. All went well and I was discharged on 17/11/11. My thanks to all.

What could be improved

I used the choose and book service to arrange my operation and selected Southport Hospital. It came as a surprise to find I would be admitted to Ormskirk and it would have been better to be informed at the outset. However, as stated, I was delighted with the outcome.

Anything else?

I hope that my favourable comments are passed on to the staff of G ward.
