What I liked

The care I received in the Day Surgery Unit and the five days stay in De La Mare ward was of the highest standard. Every single member of staff from the doctor and their team, the urodynamics staff,the nurses on the ward, the lady that filled up the water jugs and the meals lady were extremely caring, respectful and kind. I had quite a traumatic time with my operations (TVT) but I always felt reassured and looked after. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kindness and especially the doctor and team as my operation was a complete success and has given me a much more confident and comfortable life.

I would recommend St. Albans hospital to all my family and friends should they need their services.

What could be improved

I can think of nothing that could have been improved on.

Anything else?

Even the food was good and I have never known that to be true of hospital food.

Hygiene was excellent, the bedding was changed daily.

The staff were always smiling and friendly.
