"Excellent, sympathetic treatment"

About: Torbay Hospital

What I liked

My brother was taken by ambulance to the A&E Department on 30th September 2011 where, unhappily, he subsequently died.

Although obviously grieving for him I feel I have to commend the treatment he received. He was dealt with immediately and efficiently and we were treated with courtesy and consideration.

At a time when the NHS is under enormous pressure, and sometimes receiving unhelpful comments in the media, I felt I had to place on record my gratitude for the care he received and the sympathetic and professional way we were treated.

What could be improved

Nothing - your staff were exemplary.
