"heartbreaking"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

What I liked

Certain midwives who delt with me seemed very caring and tried to put me at ease

What could be improved

firstly i felt as though i had no say in what was going on once my labor started to progress, i met with two doctors that made me feel as though i was a moron and basically just a piece of meat on a table. the room in which i had my emergency c section was dirty and there was blood on the floor when i arrived in it.... not from myself. when i was put into the recovery room my child was given vitimin k with my approval but when he cried the midwife picked him up and cuddled him right in front of me before id even held him. when i was put onto ward 10 i was breastfeeding and a midwife came over to me and without my permission started ramming my childs head into my breast and touching my breast.

Anything else?

this whole experiance has left me feeling completely violated but thankfully has not ruined the bond i have made with my son which it could of easily done
