The Minor Injuries Unit reception staff are rude. The place was empty but the nurse on duty was on the phone chatting to a friend for over an hour after we arrived even tho we could be seen waiting. The reception staff talked about me like I wasn't there to the nurse. The injury I had was misdiagnosed as no x ray was given and as a result I have ended up with a permanent injury to my wrist and hand which is still ongoing 10 month after.

The staff on duty seemed more interested in being annoyed I had not seen my G.P than being helpful but if they had x-rayed my arm ( as Hull Royal eventually did when I didn't get better) they would have seen it needed a plaster as it was actually broken! GP's cannot do that. The Minor Injuries Unit has no facilities to do anything and the staff were unwilling, bored and lazy. The place is a disgrace to the nursing profession.
