(as the patient),

My experience of the practice is that you get competent, disassociated reception service, but there is not enough available time to spend with GP.

We are often made to feel the health service as a whole is doing you a favour - whether it is listening or treatment. Any misbehaviour (or behaviour deemed unsuitable i.e. discussion or expectancy of a better service) seems not to be tolerated, or only tolerated within limited parameters.

I would like:

1. More time

2. Understanding that a public service is paid out of private means.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on the service you received at the surgery. The clinicians do appreciate patients having the understanding that sometimes consultations take longer than planned because of patients needs and therefore appointments can run over. At any point if you feel that you do not have enough time with a doctor, or have more than one problem to discuss, you can always make a further appointment. Please do not hesitate to contact the surgery if you have any further concerns.
