I felt I was spoken to like a second class person because I was female, by the rheumatologist. Told that all my pain was in my mind and I should concentrate on my child to take my mind off it and see a psychiatrist. The consultant would not even talk to me in the appointment, but spoke soley to my husband.
Went private and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
