"Thank you for my angiogram"

(as the patient),

I would like to express my thanks to the cardiac catheter team who were very kind and helpful when I went for an angiogram last week. Everyone was friendly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was also impressed with how everything was explained before and after the procedure.

I also found the standard of cleanliness impressive.

My only reservation would be to forewarn a patient that the procedure could take all day. I do understand you can't put a time on it but would have been easier to organise had I known the time it might take.

Thank you so much for your very kind and positive comments that you have made about the staff in the cardiac catheter lab.and your experience when having an angiogram.

I am sorry that this took longer than you expected. I have passed all your comments to the matron so that she can both share your comments with the staff, and also consider what we can do about ensuring our patients are fully informaed about how long the procedure may take.
