What could be improved
My father was removed from the discharge ward at 10-00am, and taken to the 'discharge lounge'
After repeated telephone calls to Social Services, Ward Sister etc He was placed in a taxi at 4-30pm arriving home at 5-10pm. The Carer had arrived at his flat at 4-30pm and had left by this time. So no care there then
Anything else?
The Social Worker assured me that the 'Carers' where Profesional in their Duites. This is not the case. since discharge (Thursday 10th Nov.) They have not been able to cook porrage, make a sandwich, broken plates, hot plate in cold water etc.
"Not fit for purpose"
