"A frightening experience made to feel like a visit..."

About: Royal Preston Hospital

What I liked

I was admitted to A&E yesterday morning as my operation at Fulwood Hall Hospital was cancelled by the consultant who suspected I had a DVT in my right leg. I was seen in A&E , sent to Primary Care and then to X-Ray and back to Primary Care. Although my assessments and treatment took several hours I was made to feel at ease by everyone I met, from the reception staff at each department, the nurses, the doctors and the X-Ray staff. I cannot remember all the staff names and it would be wrong of me to name any individuals as every single one of them treated me with the utmost kindness, caring, thoughtfulness and incredible professionalism. In my humble opinion the hospital is called Royal Preston because the fantastic people who work there treated me like Royalty and I will be eternally grateful to each and everyone of them. I would not hesitate to recommend Royal Preston Hospital to anyone, thank you so much,

Chris. Thornley.
