"happy with overall care"

About: Hereford County Hospital

What I liked

The care I received in A&E dept was satisfactory - neither here or there, One nurse introduced herself to me, others just did what they had to do, no conversation and just left. When went to CCU the staff were fantastic, one nurse even going to my car to get my belongings. Offered me hot drinks when I couldnt sleep and pulle the curtains around me when I finally fell asleep in the morning. Only thing I could fault, which was due to lay out of the ward rather than staff, was my bed was right infront of nursing station, right on top of them and heard them whispering, handing over other patients to staff and the telephone non stop. I had no sleep and clocked watched every hour............ No rest and felt pretty rubbish next day.

Other than that, CCU staff brilliant :)

What could be improved

somehow making ward quieter to sleep......or move the bed from directly infront of nursing station!!

Staff on A&E to be polite or even crack a smile and introduce themselves!! or even acknowledge you when they do your bp etc
