What could be improved

During a busy anti-coagulation clinic I (and 3 other patients called to the office) were appalled to be kept waiting whilst the staff member testing our blood chatted with a member of staff and another person for a good 5 minutes. NOT work related and in my opinion rather rudely kept us all waiting.
I listened to patients in the waiting room who were obviously regulars discussing what the delay could be today !
"Please consider the patients you are keeping..."
