What I liked

I have not left yet, but have confidence that this wont change. I have been in A and E and ward 304. I have abolute confidence in the hospital. I have been in other A and E depts, other hospitals, NHS and Private, overall this comes out on top.

What could be improved

The access from the carpark, having to go down, across, then up again. I have mobility problems. The swing into and out of the carparks is very narrow and myself and other friends find this off putting. Strangers have missed the signs.

The bus is not frequent enough around the hospital, the signs not clear enough, the stops not covered.

The meals start off well in the kitchens,by the time they reach the patients they are disgusting and often unrecognisable. I had a long stay 3 years ago and as a result of increased health and safety,the meals are much worse. In my case, I cannot eat salad and so food form is limited to sandwiches without lettuce, sweetcorn and salad cream.

Anything else?

Your staff should be looked after as you are very lucky to have them.
