"An Endoscopy experience made easier at Stoke Mandeville"

I had an appointment at Stoke recently within the day surgery/endoscopy unit at 8.00AM. I can say that I was seen at 8.00AM no delays, no excuses, no questions.

I was very nervous as was my partner but the nurse who we think was Jill took us aside and explained the whole procedure in simple terms in a manner that we both understood and made me in particular feel very relaxed. My partner must have been relaxed he just went off and bought coffee and a paper.

All the nurses I had contact with were so nice and caring towards me and I actually felt like I was a PRIVATE patient which I wasnt. It was a horrible experience that was made insignificant by the staff at Stoke Mandeville.
