"A hospital that cannot provide basic medical..."

About: St Mary's Hospital (London)

What could be improved

My G.P made a first time appointment for me at the Gynae outpatient clinic. I waited 7 weeks what is reasonable. As I am a patient with a complicated history I was surprised that there was no consultant. I was seen by a junior doctor who told me to come back. The next appointment was 4 months later. 4 months later and I was sure I could see the consultant. You can imagine my dissapointment when there was again no consultant. My next appointment couldn't be given as there was no appointment available. This was my experience at the gynae outpatient. The doctor who did see me didn't write any notes in my file, just on a very small paper. Most probably this paper will be lost by now. They asked for my tel no and promised to call me last week but of course this was a false promise.

Anything else?

Who knows what will happen to me.
