(as a relative),

My Dad was airlifted from a rural hospital to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow earlier this year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff on Helimed 5 for the excellent care and attention they showed to Dad and our family. A kind, caring, professional group of guys (Mick McKenna, Jeff Proctor and co) who the Scottish Ambulance Service should be proud to employ.

I am responsible for the development and implementation of the Scottish Ambulance Service's communications strategy: this includes staff communications as well as external audiences, including PFPI and media management.
