What I liked

I was hit by a car and taken to A&E at the Alex. Whole experience (well, apart from being hit by a car) was excellent, staff were friendly and easy to talk to, provided plenty of information on what they were doing and why they needed to do it, was very well looked after.

What could be improved

Dressings I was provided with for areas I was missing skin were not appropriate so that they stuck to the wounds and were extremely painful to remove!

Anything else?

Can't really fault them on the quality of care provided, the A&E seemed to be run efficiently and well, I have nothing but gratitude towards everyone there.

Thank you for your positive comments about your experience. We hope that you are recovering well. We have taken on board your comments about the dressings and have reminded staff that advice should be given to patients with regard to how to remove dressings in order to cause minimum discomfort.
