What I liked

My husband was treated on Ward 14 during his stay. The medical staff were able to rise to the challenges of his diagnosis and the nursing staff did everything that they could to help us. They not only nursed my husband but also counselled him and took care to look after my well being too.

I feel that the staff were able to go the extra mile to make the difference and I would like to thank them for that.

What could be improved

The food!

Anything else?

Good Hope Hospital has a very poor reputation locally but I found bucket loads of empathy, care and support. I did not meet any member of staff who was anything but helpful.
