Me and my brother were treated well by all the staff. Excellent hygene with access to soap dispensers, vending machines and free drinking water. I have been there numerous times myself and the treatment I received was excellent.
This is more of a complaint to the NHS in general, but I don't know where to direct it to. I feel that my brother wasn't given sufficient advice on taking care of his broken wrist. He was given a cast, a sling and some exercises.
He was also given a leaflet. It failed to mention that he should drink milk & avoid alcohol and cigarettes. I tried to tell my brother these things but he wouldn't listen as it hadn't come from a doctor. I feel the leaflet should have contained advice about diet and lifestyle. The hospital, as a whole, is great. I feel that more advice should be given so people alter there lifestyle while a fracture is healing.
