I say that it was on ward 7, but it was actually ward 8, don't think it made that much difference though. The staff were absolutely fantastic, I couldn't have faulted any one of them. They really put me to ease about the whole operation. I was ill after the anaesthetic too, threw up all over the bed! The nurse was along straight away to change me and the sheets and blanket. The staff were all friendly. Was great to be able to chat to the surgeons and anaesthetists before the operation. They are all great people.
They looked after me so well right from the start right to when I went home. I was terrified about having the operation, it being my first ever general anaesthetic, I was really put at ease and the whole experience was great. I was meant to be able to go home at 2 o clock but I ended up going home about half 5 as I had to keep food down first.
For anyone going to this hospital feel at ease, the staff are very highly trained and you are really in the best hands around that you can be.
