"Trying to get through this"

About: Guernsey House / Primary care addiction service Sheffield (PCASS)

(as a service user),

My story: I moved to Sheffield when I was 24, to be with a woman I met in prison, 2 years gone my partner was sentenced to 7 years IPP.

After that I fell in with the wrong crowd. I was made to work on the streets as a prostitute. Every night I'd sit at home putting so much make up on (fake - that wasn't me) watching Hollyoaks, then I'd be out.

Just recently I've met a man that loves me, cares about me, and I love him so much I couldn't imagine life without him, but 2 weeks ago we were both stabbed and left for dead. We are both trying to get through this.

People have got to be strong and believe there is something to live for.
