Visit early in 2011 to Birley Medical Centre, Dr Michael Boyle.
I had a quadruple bypass in 1983 at the agre of 38 and at the age of 58 in 2002 I had a large tumour and part of my lung removed - both at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, and my care was excellent on both occasions.
Since then I have visited my doctors regularly for checks and during the last 10-15 years have generally seen Dr Boyle. Dr Boyle always has time to listen and I do not need to go over old ground because he knows me so well. He always lets me get involved with any decisions. The service I receive from Birley Medical Centre is excellent all round.
