"A completely satisfactory visit."

What I liked

Regarding a visit to the Audiology Department, Friday 14th October.

I was early, and was dealt with promptly.

The waiting room was clean and acceptable.

The Audiologist immediately understood my rather specific hearing need, and suggested a solution.

Communication was excellent, (I have a Physics background), and I was shown the graphs relating to my hearing loss, and the possible solutions.

Clear and interesting explanations as to the optimum settings for the aids was given to me.

Care was taken to set-up the aids in an appropriate manner for my hearing loss.

I was given spare tubes in case of accident.

In all, I felt I was exceedingly well-served by this department.

I would add that my dealings, early in the year, with the Department at Horsham Hospital was equally successful and I met the same degree of efficiency and friendliness, by different Audiologists.

What could be improved

It would have been useful if the web-site for the hospital showed a locator map, or the location of, each department.

Anything else?

Walking though the corridors, the surroundings did look exceedingly clean and well-scrubbed.
