What could be improved
Very unhappy with how I have been treated.after foing for some diagnostic tests in May it took 3 months for me to get an appointment for my results, originally I was told that they would not give me an appointment until october however after ringing continuously I managed to get seen in august. Its very distressing knowing you have something wrong with you and being told we won't tell you what it is for three months. When the day of my appointment finally arrived I turned up to the reception desk and witnessed what can only be described as pure chaos. Admin had booked a full clinic for the consultant on a day he had scheduled annual leave, we were all being told to re-schedule but the next appointments were in december. I even compared my appointment letter with another lady who had her appointment scheduled to see the same doctor at the exact same time as me. I waitied over an hour and half and finally got to see my consultant who managed to spend around 30 seconds explaining my results. I still do not really understand what's wrong with me, however the consultant said he would refer me to leeds. All this was back in august and now we are the end of october and still waiting for dewsbury to send my referral to leeds. We just keep hetting told the same thing that dewsbury are behind with there administration and they have not yet got to august referrals. Disgusting
"frustrating, stressfull, time wasting."
