"Very very frightening when u need urgent care and..."

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

What I liked

the cold salad sandwich from the cafe;

What could be improved

everything from my entering the A and E to leaving;

Anything else?

my gp sent me there as i had sky high blood pressure she was worried i could have a brain bleed or stroke as i also have a hole in my heart;;i was seen and given blood tests and a chest xray ;my gp wanted me 2 have a brain scan but u wasnt given 1;my blood pessure was taken also;after this time i was wheeled into the acute short stay unit whee i was left on a trolley without any medication to reduce my blood pressure after waiting 7hrs was told thee were still no beds ;the trolley was hard my neck ached and to top it off i had been left right outside of the toilets which smelt strongly of urine which made me feel sick; the nurse who took my details asked me if i had anything else wrong with me i said i had an ASD the nurse replied whats 1 of them;Alarm bells rang in my head and i was so disgusted that i had been on a trolley 7hrs and never at any time given anything for the condition that could have serious implications;I walked out and went home 2 medicate myself with tablets i had for my heart condition; and I never want a repeat of this failure in my so called urgent care;disgusting and am scared that next time.
