"good treatment from doctors"

About: Uch at Westmorland Street

What I liked

The surgery was quick and satisfactory

What could be improved

the treatment from the nurses on the 4th floor and ITU was terrible. the nurses had no respect, were rude to all relatives and to the patient. they had so much attitude and they had no care for me what so ever. i had faulty alarms in my room which kept going off over night, which the nurses responded to me with "what do you want, why do you keep pulling this". really hated my hospital stay.

Anything else?

the nurses need to go on communication and empathy courses

Thank you for your comments in relation to the care that you received from our nursing staff. I was very concerned to hear that you had such a difficult experience while staying with us and can only apologise that the service you received from our staff was not of the standard that I would expect at the Heart Hospital. I have asked the 4th Floor Ward Sister to reiterate the importance of basic care to her nurses, which should include treating patients with respect and dignity at all times.
