Fantastic new computerised telephone system
What could be improved
new computerised telephone system.
There is no point having a great system which is unanswered.
Each time I phoned (many) and was put through to the relevant department the phone call was continually returned to the computer redirection process before what are presumably very busy/dedicated staff are able to answer the phone.
How about the ability to leave a message?
How about letting it ring for longer before the autocratic computer recalls the call to 'redirect it'
Anything else?
As Clinical Director of a department in another hospital I will now need to write rather than talk to your staff about changes which may impact on the service they offer.
I think as an organisation you should be monitoring the 'failed to connect rate' of this innovative system.
