What I liked
Can't give you the top answers because there is always room for improvement ....hee hee.
I would just like to say that without your help i may well be dead now but here i am giving feedback and would just like to thank the doctor and all the staff for their help as i am sober for nearly 14 weeks now and happier than ever and am about to go for an interview for a voluntary job in mental health.
Thanks to all
Love Kay
(don't say you have forgotten me already) ha ha ha
What could be improved
The food wasn't the greatest although some of it was lovely.
Some of the care from the allocated nurses could be slightly better.
(but overall the nursing staff were brilliant)
The Garden could be improved as in during my stay several of the patients said they loved gardening .......couldn't this be part of the recovery process allocating some of the garden to keep the gardeners occupied ......there will always be someone in there who enjoys this hobby.
This may sound trivial but the butter provided for toast in the patients kitchen was extremely salty and maybe slightly salted butter would be better after all too much salt isn't recommended for people with liver conditions my GP advises me.
Also very surprised at no public toilet for visitors as the building was purpose built.
Anything else?
Well what more can I say than thank you for everything and i never thought i'd say this but i look forward now to Aftercare on Thursday afternoons meeting up with what i consider to be old friends and being able to help people who have just gone in there now for treatment not that i am qualified but i can re-assure them that they will get through this time and com out the other side smiling as i have.
"It was very scary to start with but i was very sad..."
