What I liked
The staff of Bodmin Hospital are an aspirational example of what an NHS hospital could and should be. My termanally ill father and his family were treated to exceptional care and understanding; making the distressful last weeks of my father's illness easier to bear, for both my father as their patient and the family in their grief. My father unfortunately had received less than satisfactory treatment at another local NHS hospital prior to his transfer to Bodmin; but on arrival at Bodmin I can confirm that the excellence of the nursing care re-established my faith in what the National Health is capable of, and showed the level of service of patient care both medical and emotional that should be achievable throughout the NHS. My thanks go to all staff of Harbour Ward.
What could be improved
The other hospital.
"An example of the standard of NHS care as is..."
