My granddad had a massive heart attack and was taken to the N&N University Hospital.
The staff on the CCU were exceptional. They were professional, caring and couldn't do enough to make sure he had everything he needed and that the right choices were made at the right time.
My family owe them so much and appreciate all their hard work ... they are angels in disguise, we will never be able to repay them.
This experience has restored my faith in the NHS as much of the time you only hear how the government is ruining the NHS and how things will only get worse. These cuts must stop before the extra workload, poor pay and staff being overstretched and stressed causes medical staff to look to other professions who pay more. How can you expect to freeze wages, pay poorly or make cuts and all the time expect more and more from your staff?
People really do make a difference, regardless of the extra workload placed upon them they still smile and ensure that the patients receive the best they can offer. Truly grateful for everything, thank you so very much.
