"Very kind people at Sentinel "

About: Sentinel Healthcare Southwest Community Interest Company / Referral & Appointment Booking Team

(as the patient),

I went to see my doctor and I was told that a company called Sentinel would phone me in 5 days to book a hospital appointment and after a week I had heard nothing so I phoned them and spoke to a extremely kind woman who informed me that they had no referral for me yet and to check with my doctor. Upon calling the practice they assured me it would be sent soon and to give it a couple more days. I once again phoned Sentinel (rather frustrated at this point) as I had heard nothing and spoke to a gentleman called Ross who offered to call my doctor and get things moving for me. After 45 minutes he called me back with my referral and booked me into see someone in a few weeks to which I was overjoyed as my pain is not going away! I would like to thank Sentinel for their help in particular Ross as he was very reassuring and seemed to genuinely care about my needs. You all get good marks from me!

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion. Your experience is one that I think happens quite often as sometimes referrals to our service can take longer than originally expected. At this point, from a patients perspective we can all appreciate how this would be frustrating and its really good to read that all contact with Sentinel staff was positive and that you found the service helpful.

I'm glad Ross was able to get your appointment booked in after your original delay and thank you for the personal feedback for him, he will have sight of your opinion and I'm sure he will be thrilled to see it - so thank you.
