What I liked

I have been attending the Day Care Unit on alternate weeks for 12 weeks. From the minute I walk in the door to the minute I leave the staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions I have and if they don't kow the answer themselves will always go and find out from someone else. The care taken to ensure hygene and that I am receiving the correct treatment is flawless. You might think a room full of cancer patients on drips might be a miserable place to be. Not at all. If it wasn't for the reason I was there I'd say it's a pleasure to be there!

What could be improved

My only gripe is the old problem of not keeping to appointment times. Some of my treatment has started on time, but on two occasions it was over one hour after appointment time, and that was quite early in the day.

I have come across this problem at all of the four hospitals I have visited in the last two years. I appreciate that it must be difficult to predict how long a consulatation might take, but when patients are receiving treatment where the length of time the treatment takes is reasonably easy to predict, surely appointment times ought to be a little more reliable.
