"really dissapointing"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

What could be improved

I took my mother to the emergency in Sep 2011. She was suffering from extreme pain in her fingers which were broken few weeks ago.

I am really dissapointed with the service I received from the hospital. we waited for 4 hours in the emergency. Then a doctor called our name and examined the general conditions of the fingers. She asked us to wait while she discuss the case with her supervisor. She came back after 45 minutes and did not tell us anythng. Just gave us a splint and also showed us instructions for using it. When we got home we noticed that she gave us the splint for the other hand and showed all instructions wrong.....will never use this hospital again in the future. really dissapointing!!
