What I liked
I attended Neurology outpatients department initially in July with a lengthy wait due to the clinic running late. I could understand why the clinic was running late due to the thoroughness of the registrar and consultant who I saw. I was grateful of their time and explanations.
In August following my consultation, I attended the Neuroradiology for a CT scan, I must comment on the member of staff who called me into the room for the scan. I had a bad experience whilst having an MRI previously so was slightly apprehensive toward the CT. The member of staff was so caring and reassuring, she explained everything to me and put me at ease. I was so grateful to her. I then attended the Radiology department and once again the radiologist was very caring, I had to request to sit for one of the x-rays and the radiologist was not put out by this in the slightest. After the x-rays and because of the position I had to hold myself I suffered a very bad dizzy spell and she reassured me and ensured I stayed seated until I was more stable.
The staff's caring and compassionate attitude was much appreciated to what has been a daunting situation for myself.
I shall be returning for a further consultation in the near future and would not hesitate in recommending the hospital.
"Very pleased and appreciative to the caring and..."
