"I have changed thanks to Trafford drug services"

About: Addiction Dependency Solutions / Trafford Bridging the Gap Cheshire And Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Trafford Integrated assessment service

(as a service user),

I have been with the service for quite a few years. I started when I was injecting drugs every day. I have changed through the help of the service and my worker Lisa to stop injecting. I smoke now only and that is a couple of times a week and I have my prescription of methadone daily. Some people might think I have not changed because I use drugs still but for me I have changed, no more injecting. I have reduced my drugs and days I have used I now plan to work on just using once a week if I can. Knowing my worker and service are there is a big help and support and don't think these changes would have happened without them.
