I was having blackouts, before going into hospital I didn't know what was causing them. I had one on the Monday morning, one on the Tuesday afternoon, one on the Wednesday morning and so went into hospital to be checked out and had another on Wednesday afternoon. I was admitted to Johnson ward, for cardiac problems. In 2008 I had a heart attack so I know the people there, and the service is brilliant. I suffer with Depression, and spent 10 days in a room with no telly or radio which didn't help. Had it not been for the nurses I'd have been feeling much worse but they were amazing. To be honest, without the nurses I'd have done a bunk. They really went out of their way for me, went the extra mile and it was very much appreciated. I hear people who moan about the state of the wards, but I have been in and out of hospital since 1991 for a variety of different ailments and I've never had a problem. I've found them all fantastic - from cleaners to consultants, all superb.
