About: Liverpool Womens Hospital

What I liked

my daughter had her first baby at LWH she was basically left despite not progressing in labour having high bp and being two weeks overdue..the midwife kept apologising and saying things like...i have a woman who needs to push and a woman bleeding....my concern was my daughter and baby....my grandaughter went into fetal distress passed meconium and her heartrate kept dipping...i truly believe if i hadnt gone and insisted the midwife return to my daughters room my grandaughter wouldnt have made it....when the midwife did return the babys heartbeat was 35 beats she was rushed for an emergency section....i am a mother of ten and suffered a traumatic c sectioon myself at LWH i made a complaint the surgeon was arrogant didnt give any confidence or come to speak to me after the section...i would be petrified to be pregnant and facing a delivery in a hospital that looks very nice but doesnt have the staff to safely run a delivery suite in the heart of a city.....

What could be improved

everything
