"Good spoilt by communication problem"

About: Leighton Hospital

What I liked

I have been visiting the eye care department fort some time & my last three visits the waiting time was good.

What could be improved

There is a big problem inthis department with staff not being able to speak clearly they are difficicult to understand & on occaisons I have had to contact a personal assistant to confirm my medication instructions. The last time I visited I saw three medical staff & the only one who spoke clearly was the nurse who checked my eyes, the field test operater & the Doctor could not speak clearly, I have found in the past that the doctot had a nurse in attandence & they sometimes help me out but on this appointment there was no nurse. I noticed on your notice board the results of a survey showed many other people have this problem in the eye centre maybe something could be done about it.. Many thanks Howard Shakeshaft
